Sunday, February 8 2004 @ 9:01 AM (GMT) - WarBoards.org is opened to the public with the thread Hello, World by Edgewize. Large amounts of Blizzforumers flock to the new website.
February 14, 2004 - Signatures are implemented on the boards.
April 4, 2004 - Nuts steps down as moderator for General Forums. Is replaced by OboeGuru.
May 11, 2004 - #orgnetwork is registered at EnterTheGame.
May 23-25, 2004 - Whiteknight becomes the Forum Scapegoat.
June 2004 - Triumvirate Craze begins. (and it never really ends)
July 19 2004 - Karma system is enabled for the first time.
August 2004 - First WarBoards Official Image Contest is held in Creative Concepts.
September 3 2004 - PC99 and Geno are bored and create ProtossGenoChick99. Oh, the horror.
September 4 2004 - WarBoards hits the 100k post mark.
October 13, 2004 - Work begins on the WarBoards newspaper, DotORG.
October 20, 2004 - Exedore retires from moderating the Tech Annex and Warcraft forums. Is replaced by Prozerran.
October 26, 2004 - Black.Ice starts the largest RP ever in WarBoards history: The Beginning.
November 27, 2004 - Schwitzer announces the WarBoards 2005 Tasteful Nude Calendar.
December 11, 2004 - FlagshipStudios.org joins the ORG Network.
February 18, 2005 - Black.Ice is promoted to Moderator of Online Roleplaying, after the retirement of T-Dawg from the Diablo Forums.
March 15, 2005 - 0laf appears for the first time at WarBoards.
March 18, 2005 - hammocksleeper becomes moderator for Miscellaneous Gaming after Shinigami retires.
2005-2006 Stuff happens......
March 14, 2006 - March Madness is launched, but sadly fizzles out and gets locked.
April 21, 2006, approximately 4:39 PM - WarBoards hits the 300,000 post mark.
2006-2007 More stuff happens.......
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 - Zeltaris starts the Warboards Timeline article. Hell, he even puts a timestamp on it --Zeltaris 13:03, 24 April 2007 (PDT)
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 @ 3:07 AM (GMT) to Friday, July 27, 2007 @ 3:42 PM (GMT) - The First (successful) Warboards Presidential Race and Election was held.
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 @ 3:07 AM (GMT) - Dark_Soul74 started his successful WarBoards Presidential Race and Election with the creation of the thread, The Call of Democracy (and invented the title Faux Administrator President/Scapegoat (or FAPS)) in the wake of the dismal failure (not to mention Grammar teacher's nightmare) that was Gunmonk's Presidency of WB event. (See also: here are your candidates and Primaries.) The announcement of the intent to run (in DS's election) was to last 5 days, until Monday, June 25th, at midnight (GMT).
Friday, June 22, 2007 @ 4:26 PM (GMT) - The above mentioned thread was closed by K'tan due to a small scale flame war started due to Gunmonk's harassment, trolling, spamming, flaming, and outright obstruction of the continuance of the thread.
Friday, June 22, 2007 @ 4:50 PM (GMT) - Dark_Soul74 restarted the First WarBoards Presidential Election with the creation of a new thread, Official Nomination Thread. Nominations themselves were accepted from June 22nd, noon (GMT) until Monday, June 25th, at midnight (GMT).
Tuesday, June 27, 2007 @ 2:08 AM (GMT) - Dark_Soul74 proclaimed the start of the Campaign Season for the WarBoards Presidential Elections with the creation of the Your Candidates and You: A Beginner's Guide thread and the list of candidates, Cthulu, K'tan, Magmaniac, TinyDancer, Black.Ice, Zeltaris, and Darkslayer633.
Originally scheduled to last 2 weeks, until Wednesday, July 10th, it was pretty active until Sunday, July 22, 2007 @ 7:14 PM (GMT).
Friday, July 12, 2007 @ 12:07 AM (GMT) - Dark_Soul74 created the thread The Last Word: And Who Gets It for the final pre-voting speech segment!
Monday, July 23, 2007 @ 10:00 PM (GMT) - The Final Election Round of the WarBoards Presidential Race was decreed in the Final Election Round: Bring Your Pets! thread, and included a list of the candidates: Cthulu, K'tan, Magmaniac, TinyDancer, Black.Ice, Zeltaris, and Darkslayer633.
July 27, 2007 @ 10:20 PM (GMT) - Dark_Soul74 declared the end of the of the elections, and then delayed both the counting of the votes, and the announcing of the winner for over an hour because he was "busy with pizza".
Friday, July 27, 2007 @ 3:42 PM (GMT) - Dark_Soul 74 stated that Black.Ice had been elected the first President of WarBoards with 36% of votes in the Your President thread.
Friday, July 27, 2007 @ 3:43 PM (GMT) - Back in the Final Election Round: Bring Your Pets! thread, Dark_Soul74 informed everyone that "... Black.Ice got most of the votes, and trailing him was a three-way tie between Ktan, TinyDancer, and Cthulhu." "... (Yes, Ktan is in a three-way with TD and Cthulhu. Fun times.)"
2007 on, Nothing else has happened yet :P
