[edit] Reverse the Redirect?

  • I don't know if I'm the only one, but I think the redirect should be the opposite and that Warboards should have the main stuff and Warboards.org should redirect to Warboards. Maybe it's just me though. BH 15:15, 19 April 2006 (CDT)
    • Well I did it this way because the official name is WarBoards.org as stated by Edgewize. I believe the ".org" part is included to create a consistent brand between the sites. --BSTRhino 15:52, 19 April 2006 (CDT)

[edit] One sided?

  • I'm just writing the WarBoards.org history from everything I know off the top of my head. I might be writing it a bit one-sided, but I don't know for sure. Feel free to add anything you like, just make sure it's well-written. --BSTRhino 01:38, 19 April 2006 (CDT)
  • I wouldn't worry BST. Theres some stuff up there that I didn't even know, and nothing about it seems to biased. It shows our version of events, and pretty well actually. The split wasn't quite clean anyways, so its not a bad idea to just leave it in the past. Its actually a really good history of Warboards IMO. -Neo 01:47, 19 April 2006 (CDT)

[edit] The first day

  • I don't really want to write what happened on the first day of WarBoards.org because it's so emotionally charged and negative in places, and it doesn't put anyone in a good light. If you feel like writing it, you're welcome to, and you can also rename the heading from "Judgement Day" to whatever you like, I just happened to think of that when I was writing. --BSTRhino 06:36, 19 April 2006 (CDT)
Given what you said then, I'd be curious about it... Tell me! :p

I was going to try and craft some honest fixes to this article, but I am really at a loss as to where. First and foremost, the entry isn't really about Warboards at all. It's almost entirely about BlizzForums prior to Warboards opening. Additionally, the comments like Schwitzer stopped moderating. Oh, big punishing blow. Why is that even there? Additionally, to talk about an event and pretend like lots of things didn't happen is worthless. There was a lot of friction for different reasons. AJ was doing some very underhanded things at the time leading up to the split which included deleting the records of what he was doing when he was asked about it. AJ and I get along great now, but at the time it was just a messy situation. This whole article, not surprisingly, casts it as if BF had forced the Org Staff out. This article is only one-sided, and that's unfortunate. -Redcloak
