Bill Roper

Bill Roper is a game developer, best known as the CEO of Flagship Studios and former VP of Blizzard North, one of the most successful PC game developers of the past two decades. Blizzard North under his guidance produced such hits as Diablo, Diablo II, Warcraft III, StarCraft: Brood War and Warcraft III. He also provided voice acting for some of the games. He worked for Blizzard from 1994 to 2001.

After his departure from Blizzard he became the CEO of Flagship Studios, Inc, the developer of Hellgate: London.

Bill also performed at the California Renaissance Pleasure Faires, as the character "Captain Black." He sings as a baritone with, and is the co-founder of the renaissance themed group [1] "The Poxy Boggards."
